The Challenge

St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation set an ambitious goal: bring the first MRI machine to Estevan, eliminating the need for patients to travel hours for critical diagnostic imaging. The project required raising millions of dollars through community donations, corporate sponsorships, and special events.

While SJHF had strong community trust, the campaign needed a clear, compelling identity, a consistent promotional strategy, and high-impact storytelling to keep momentum over months of fundraising.

Our Approach

Impact Creative partnered with SJHF to develop and manage a multi-channel campaign that would inspire the community, drive donations, and keep the MRI project top-of-mind.

  • Event Promotions: Supported Radiothon for Life, Festival of Trees, and other key fundraising events with promotional campaigns and live social coverage.
  • Community Involvement: Encouraged local businesses, service clubs, and individuals to create their own fundraising initiatives and share them online.

The Results

  • $6M+ Raised in donations to date, with strong momentum toward the total goal.
  • Record-Breaking Events: Radiothon for Life exceeded fundraising targets, bringing in $272,000.
  • Social Media Reach: Campaign posts consistently achieved high organic reach and engagement, with significant community shares and participation.
  • Brand Consistency: The campaign identity became instantly recognizable throughout southeast Saskatchewan, both online and offline.
